The ones who don’t even ask you if you WANT to see said photos, yet proceed to show you 217 more, while explaining the backstory of each one🙄 ...luckily I’m not ANYTHING like that because, well, I don’t have human children. But...

➡️ What four-legged fur children do you take care of? 🐶🐱🐹🐰 ➡️ Am I smiling because today’s halfway over, or because I’ve had too much coffee? ...or both? 🤔

So, it’s halfway through the day, my hair is a knotted mess, my water bottle is still full, but my coffee mug has been refilled 3 times, and I have no idea where my bag is. It must be #Monday. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Can you relate? Happy Valentine’s Day! ❤️

There are so many connotations about Valentine’s Day that really aren’t true, but I’ve touched on 5 that really called out to me. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. You should be in a relationship. 👉🏼INCORRECT. You should be in a relationship if you’ve found the right person. You should be in a relationship if you’re ready for it in this stage of your life. You should be in a relationship if you’ve found the one who resonates with your soul. Otherwise, keep doing you! You’ll find your partner eventually, when it’s the right time for both of you!

2. If you’re single, you have to, instead, celebrate “Galentine’s Day”. 👉🏼 HAHA 😂 NO YOU DON’T! This just seems like a second cousin kind of version of a holiday that only single girls are segregated to celebrate, and also, where’s the Guy-lentine’s Day? What? Single guys don’t get their own holiday?

Today, I'm smiling. 🙃 I'm smiling because I finally turned off my phone for ALMOST the entire weekend. I'm smiling because, although I did end up working about 4 hours for my day job and about 2 hours for this social account, I finally spent the weekend getting back to my roots and following through with a few passions I love...decluttering, cleaning & organizing. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
YES, yes, I know...this month was supposed to be dedicated to decluttering; I wrote a blog about it, I created a free pdf for it, and I started off the month with the hashtag #declutterwithA...but do you want to know what ACTUALLY happened behind the scenes the past two weeks? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This could be: 💆🏼‍♀️RELAXING, like taking a bath or getting a massage. . 🙌🏼MOTIVATING, like listening to a podcast or audiobook that is centered around your dreams, or sitting down to write down your goals for the next week, month or year. . 🌿INSPIRING, like going for a walk in nature or stirring up creativity within yourself by walking through a museum.
. 💁🏼‍♀️Or a mix of all three! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Do something for YOU this week, because once you take care of yourself, it’s much easier to take care of others 😉 #selfcare

➡️ Raise your hand if you’re ready for the weekend!! 🙋🏼‍♀️ (I know I am!) Sometimes I lift weights for a couple hours at the gym 💪🏼 and other times I swing a kettle ball around my backyard. 🌳

Sometimes I’m super motivated to get to the gym, run on the treadmill and deadlift a new PR, 🏋🏼‍♀️ and some days I can’t find the energy to even get out of bed. 🛌 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But regardless of my motivation, I try to always be consistent with my activity, by doing little things each and every day to keep myself moving. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here are 🔟 easy ways you can start moving TODAY!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1️⃣ Go to the gym 🏋🏼‍♂️ 2️⃣ Practice yoga at home 🧘🏼‍♀️ 3️⃣ Walk around the neighborhood before or after work (to make it more fun, invite a friend/partner, or listen to a podcast 🎧 you love!) 4️⃣ Take breaks to walk around the office building while at work 🏃🏼‍♀️ 5️⃣ Park as far away as possible when running errands 🚗 6️⃣ Stop by the mall 🛍 or Target on your way home, solely to walk around and get some steps in (this is the time you may want to leave your wallet at home, or just have really good self control!) 7️⃣ Organize/declutter your space 🏡 (this actually takes a lot of energy; especially if you’re running all over the house, gathering pieces to go through.)
8️⃣ Clean your house; two 🐦 🐦 birds in one! (did you know that vacuuming alone could burn up to 200 calories in an hour!) 9️⃣ Walk your dog (or walking your friend’s dog) 🐶 🔟 or turn up your favorite playlist and dance around your house 💃🏼

✨ Whatever gets YOU excited to start moving, DO THAT. Exercise is NOT about what you're SUPPOSED to do, but instead, about consistency. And what better way to stay consistent than by doing something you truly enjoy doing? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Today I’m going to do a combination of 4️⃣, 5️⃣, & 7️⃣! ➡️ How are you moving today? I don’t always make time for self-care in my everyday routine, but it really is so important 🙌🏼 (and after the week I’ve had, I need a LOT of stress relief! 🙈).
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We all must find a way to feed our soul, relax our mind and recharge our energy on a regular basis, so we are able to present the best version of ourselves in everything we do!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
One of my favorite ways to recharge is by lighting a few candles, sipping a glass of sparkling water (or wine 🍷, let's be honest), turning on a podcast and relaxing in a hot, steamy bath 🛁  with my new, favorite bath fizz from @rawsugarliving. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When you intentionally prioritize self-care, you end up finding self love along the way; and by taking care of yourself from the outside AND the inside, you really do start to feel more confident in your own skin. 🥰 And speaking of taking care of your outside (ie: your skin...don’t be weird), I truly feel rejuvenated, thanks to all the Raw Sugar Living products, because it feels like I’m “feeding” my skin with fresh ColdPressed, detoxifying ingredients (instead of harsh chemicals, parabens and sulfates).
